Pacific Beach Coalition

These illustrations were created to be featured in a variety of infographics, posters, and blog/social media posts about Pacific Beach Coalition’s new Coastal Guardians Club. As part of PBC’s donor stewardship efforts, they created a donation program with various membership levels and a respective native animal “guardian”:

• Shorebird Supporter (up to $100): As a Shorebird Supporter, donors help PBC preserve the beauty of our beaches and shoreline.

• Dolphin Defender ($250): Join as a Dolphin Defender and actively contribute to the protection and conservation of our ocean’s wildlife.

• Kelp Keeper ($500): Become a Kelp Keeper and support vital projects that help preserve our coastal ecosystems.

• Whale Warrior (+$1000): As a Whale Warrior, a donor’s generous contribution ensures the sustainability of our oceans for future generations.

Street To Beach Litter Series

These illustrations were created to be featured in a variety of infographics, posters, and blog/social media posts about Pacific Beach Coalition’s Street to Beach program. They graphically represent the type of litter that can usually be found along the coasts in PBC’s cleanup events. The illustrations can be found in a graphic of PBC’s monthly litter collections.

laysan Albatross Series

These illustrations were created to be featured in a variety of infographics, posters, and blog/social media posts about Pacific Beach Coalition’s 2020-2021 Habitat Hero, the Laysan Albatross. The albatross are depicted performing their famous mating dance and the illustrations are most notably used in a three-part infographic series on the Laysan Albatross.

Mission Blue Butterfly Series

These illustrations were created to be featured in a variety of infographics, posters, and blog/social media posts about Pacific Beach Coalition’s 2022 Habitat Hero, the Mission Blue Butterfly. These illustrations can be found in PBC’s 2022 “Earth Hero” button or within the Mission Blue Butterfly education packet sent out to various educational institutions of interest.

MIND THE LABEL Campaign

To create a well-developed, fictional campaign surrounding GMO usage, I created a variety of illustrations that can be seen across various deliverables. These illustrations include popular GMO products that can be found on the market and imaginary people to bring a human-touch to the campaign despite all imagery being illustration.

Vectoring Pixel-based images

To practice, take a pixel-based portrait and vectorize the image by creating a live paint group. Individual shapes and shadows are made into their own organic forms and will work together to create a finished vectorized form.

Exploration of Color in Interior Sketches

In an original drawing, I explored a variety drawing techniques in Adobe Illustrator and experimented with four different color schemes: neutral, monochromatic, complementary, and analogous.
