Typography
Selected typefaces are sans serif because the simple letterforms help to convey the company brand. The “Back to Basics” company tagline ties into the idea of minimalism, and san serif fonts further promote that aesthetic. Both selected typefaces have rounded edges, to stay on brand with mealworms being the basis of the company’s products.
Color Palette
Color choices are reflective of the colors seen on a mealworm. Likewise, the tile pattern is a simplified reflection of what mealworms look like when they are grouped together. The company’s brand colors, tile pattern, and brand mark will serve as a subtle way to tie mealworms into the branding without deterring consumers.
